On Tuesday, October 1, 2019, friends of 天涯海角社区 assembled for the 24th annual Golf Classic fundraiser. Returning to the Philadelphia Cricket Club in Flourtown, PA, 162 participants took to the course for a day of golf and skills competitions in order to support student scholarships at 天涯海角社区. The event generated a record of over $88,000 for The Cairn Fund, far surpassing last year鈥檚 impressive support of over $60,000. 
Golfers enjoyed a beautiful, warm day on one of the finest courses in the Philadelphia area. After the golfing and skills contests, a meal and ceremony for the award-winners took place on the Philadelphia Cricket Club鈥檚 historic grounds.
This year鈥檚 Golf Classic Legacy Award was presented to Dr. Edgar Brightbill, Cairn Board of Trustees Emeritus. This award recognizes faithful support of the University, as well as participation in bringing the Golf Classic to fruition. Because of efforts by Dr. Brightbill and many other Cairn faculty, staff, and associates, students at the University benefit from this significant financial support through the outing.听
